DESCRIPTION:St. Thomas Forane Church\, Thomapuram\, is a Syro-Malabar Catho
 lic parish located on the Chittarikkal–Bheemanadi Road at Thomapuram in 
 Kasaragod district\, Kerala. The parish belongs to the Archdiocese of Tell
 icherry and is dedicated to St. Thomas the Apostle. Thomapuram is also the
  name by which the surrounding locality is commonly identified\, with the 
 church and St. Thomas Higher Secondary School forming prominent community 
 institutions in the area. The parish has an established place in the relig
 ious life of the Catholic community in the hilly eastern part of Kasaragod
 \, where Syro-Malabar Christian settlements developed alongside agricultur
 al communities. Worship at the church follows the Syro-Malabar tradition\,
  with Holy Qurbana and other sacramental and devotional observances formin
 g the centre of parish life. The church is particularly associated with th
