DESCRIPTION:Sree Pariyanampatta Bhagavathi Temple is a historic Devi temple
  at Kattukulam in Palakkad district\, associated with the religious tradit
 ions of the former Valluvanad region. Dedicated to Bhagavathi\, the temple
  is traditionally regarded as the Goddess of the fourteen desams\, reflect
 ing its longstanding importance within the surrounding cultural landscape.
  The temple’s own official website describes the shrine as believed to b
 e around 1\,400 years old and notes that its Devi prathishta has distincti
 ve features compared with other Bhagavathi temples in Kerala. The temple c
 omplex is also described as having architectural and ritual similarities w
 ith the Mookambika Temple at Kollur. Pariyanampatta is particularly known 
 for its annual Pooram\, one of the principal festivals observed at the tem
 ple. The celebrations are accompanied by a series of temple rituals and cu
