DESCRIPTION:Ottanthullal Competition is a vibrant youth cultural event orga
 nized at the Pathanapuram Arts Hall in Pathanapuram\, celebrating Kerala
 ’s classical solo performance tradition of Ottanthullal through competit
 ive stage presentations by young artists. Created by the legendary poet Ku
 nchan Nambiar\, Ottanthullal is known for its blend of expressive dance\, 
 rhythmic storytelling\, satire\, humor\, and classical literature presente
 d in a lively and accessible style. During the competition\, participants 
 perform dramatic narrative pieces drawn from mythology\, folklore\, and so
 cial themes while combining energetic body movements\, facial expressions\
 , hand gestures\, and stylized recitation. Dressed in traditional colorful
  costumes with elaborate makeup and ornaments\, the performers captivate a
 udiences through fast-paced storytelling and witty interpretation characte
 ristic of Ottanthullal. Accompanied by traditional percussion instruments 
 such as maddalam and cymbals\, the performances create an engaging theatri
 cal atmosphere inside the Arts Hall. The youth competition format encourag
 es students and emerging artists to preserve and continue Kerala’s class
