Kochanam Kulangara Temple Pooram is an annual celebration held at Kochanam Kulangara Temple in Iringappuram, near Guruvayur, Thrissur, bringing together devotees and the local community in a vibrant celebration of faith, tradition and togetherness. One of the major highlights is the spectacular gathering of caparisoned elephants accompanied by traditional chendamelam, creating an unforgettable festive atmosphere. A unique feature of the Pooram is the participation of several small Poorams from nearby temples, local clubs and communities, which make their colourful and traditional processions to the main Kochanam Kulangara Temple ground, where they unite to celebrate as one grand Pooram.

As the day progresses, the festivities continue with a variety of traditional cultural performances and processions. The evening comes alive with Kavadiyattam, Karingali and other traditional art forms and parades, adding colour, rhythm and cultural richness to the celebrations.
