Kho Kho Junior Meet is a school-age kho-kho meeting at the upper primary school in Anchal, Kollam. Kho-kho is a tag game. Two teams of twelve play on a rectangular court. Chasers kneel in a centre line and run in turns. A chaser gives a kho, a touch and a call, to a teammate facing the other way, and that teammate runs. The runners try not to be tagged. The chant, the centre line, and the tag are the game. Court measurements and the scoring table belong to the meet's own rule sheet. A description cannot give you the lines to paint.

Junior means school-age players. It does not name a class or a birth year. Upper primary is what UP means on a Kerala school board. The meet is at Anchal UP School. District-level means the meet is meant to draw schools from the district, with a draw and officials, when a district association or a school games body has called it. If that body has not called it, you have a school game, not a district cup. Do not arrive with a district fixture list you found for another year.

November is the month for the meet. The court might be in the school yard, in a hall, or on a borrowed ground. Rain and exams move school sport. The upper primary school is where you start asking. The town hall is not the court unless the school says so.

Families may or may not be allowed to watch. Players are children. Photographing them needs the school's consent. Spectators stay off the court. A kho-kho court looks small from the side, and a person stepping in to see better stops the raid.

Punalur railway station is about 14 kilometres from Anchal. Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is about 69 kilometres away. Buses use the Anchal bus stand. Hotel Atlantis in Anchal and Archana Hotel are the rooms named for a stay. They are not the venue.

If you have never watched kho-kho, stay off the court and follow one chaser. The kneeling line, the kho, and the tag are the whole idea. Twelve a side is the full game. Ages are school ages, not a birth year you can guess. Anchal UP School is where you start. A district draw exists only when a district body has called one. November is busy with school exams and with rain, so a date you heard early can move to another ground, including a hall or a borrowed field. Players are children. Families watch only if the convenor allows it, and cameras wait for consent. The Anchal bus stand is the stop. Punalur station is about 14 kilometres away. Hotel Atlantis and Archana Hotel are not the court. Ask which schools have entered before you travel to support one.
