DESCRIPTION:Kaattile Palli Darga\, popularly known as Moonnu Pettumma Palli
  or Kattile Palli\, is a historic Muslim shrine and pilgrimage centre at P
 appinisseri in Kannur district\, Kerala. The shrine is associated with the
  local oral tradition of Moonnu Pettumma\, meaning “the mother who gave 
 birth to three”\, and is revered as an important maqam in the northern M
 alabar region. The traditional story connected with the shrine has been pr
 eserved through local religious memory and contributes to its distinctive 
 identity. The maqam attracts devotees throughout the year\, while its annu
 al Kattile Palli Nercha\, also known as Moonnu Pettumma Makham Uroos\, is 
 the principal religious observance associated with the site. The Nercha is
  recognised as one of the notable Muslim devotional festivals of Kannur an
 d is known for participation by people from different religious communitie
 s. During the festival\, the shrine and surrounding locality become a cent
 re of religious observance and community activity\, with devotees gatherin
