DESCRIPTION:Christ the King Church at Karani in Wayanad is a Syro-Malabar C
 atholic parish under the Mananthavady Diocese and the Bathery Forane. The 
 parish was established on 15 February 1994 and is officially listed by the
  Diocese of Mananthavady among its parishes in Wayanad. Located at Kaniyan
 betta Karani\, the church serves the local Catholic community through regu
 lar Holy Mass\, sacramental services\, catechetical activities and parish 
 programmes. The church’s patron is Christ the King\, whose liturgical fe
 ast is observed annually in November. The Diocese of Mananthavady specific
 ally records the parish feast under the Malayalam designation “Kristhura
 j” and places its observance in November\, corresponding to the Catholic
  celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ\, King of the Unive
 rse near the end of the liturgical year. The feast provides an opportunity
