Anchal Caricature Sketch Fair is a lively community art event hosted at the Anchal Library in Anchal, celebrating creativity, humor, and visual storytelling through live caricature drawing sessions and interactive art activities. The fair brings together local artists, cartoonists, students, and art enthusiasts who create humorous and exaggerated portrait sketches of visitors in real time, transforming the library space into a vibrant cultural and artistic gathering. Known for their expressive lines and playful interpretations, caricature artists capture unique facial features, expressions, and personalities while entertaining audiences with quick sketching techniques and creative humor. The event atmosphere is informal, interactive, and family-friendly, allowing visitors to observe the drawing process closely and even take home personalized caricature portraits as souvenirs. Along with live sketching booths, the fair may also include cartoon exhibitions, illustration workshops, storytelling corners, comic-art displays, and discussions about satire and visual art traditions in Kerala. The library setting encourages artistic appreciation and community participation while promoting reading, creativity, and cultural engagement among youth and families. Visitors attending the fair can experience a blend of humor, portrait art, and public interaction rarely found in conventional exhibitions. The event especially appeals to children, students, photographers, and social media enthusiasts who enjoy artistic performances with a personal touch.
